Attributes Of An Ideal Candidate / What You’ll Do In This Role

  • Work closely with CEO Peter Rex, growing and developing multiple companies; with flexibility to jump wherever the greatest need arises, burrowing deep into projects. 
  • Generalist entrepreneurial athlete, able to lead a broad variety of initiatives end-to-end. 
  • Aggressive executor with extreme competence, attention to detail, highest standards. Adapt to rapid changes in a highly intense, dynamic environment.
  • Drive capital raising initiatives, targeting accredited investors and VCs to fuel growth.
  • Create or oversee marketing and communications; including at the enterprise level for capital or strategic partnerships, or at the portfolio level for B2B tech companies.
  • Versatile in social media, ML/Automation, and other tech tools/platforms.
  • Analyze high level and dive deep into ops to problem-solve and uncover opportunities. Ability to distill thoughts, debate abstractly, and relentlessly pursue truth without ego.
  • Demonstrate keen analytical abilities, investment acumen, and sound decision-making in high-pressure situations. Lead high-stake discussions and negotiations.
  • 3+yrs experience with extraordinary performance results at a top firm. 
  • Extremely driven, mission-focused leader. Passionate about tech serving people.

Compensation & Requirements

  • Compensation commensurate with skill set with a bias toward equity to ensure shareholder alignment, hunger, and “skin in game”.
  • Realize life’s short; determined to make biggest impact.
  • Work from home, living locally in Austin (within 30 miles of downtown) for community purposes. Open to remote on an exception basis.
